Do your almonds come in contact with peanuts or any other tree nuts?
Paramount Farms exclusively grows and markets almonds and pistachios. Our almonds and pistachios do not share the same equipment or facilities during the harvesting, production or packaging processes. Vehicles used to transport the finished products from our facilities adhere to strict hygiene and integrity regulations prior to loading. On occasion when almonds and pistachios are on the same vehicle, cross contamination is prevented by several physical barriers including packaging, film and corrugated boxes.
At no time do we process peanuts or use peanut-based or other nut-based products.
Are your almonds vegetarian / vegan / gluten free / MSG free / Kosher / Halal Certified?
Yes! Wonderful Almonds are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, MSG free, Kosher (certified by the Orthodox Union) and Halal (certified by the Islamic Food Nutrition Council of America).
Are your products genetically modified?
Wonderful Almonds are not a genetically modified product.
Do your products contain dairy or soy products?
Wonderful Almonds are dairy and soy free.
Are your almonds roasted in oil?
Our almonds are dry roasted with no added oil.
Where are the almonds grown and manufactured?
Wonderful Almonds are grown and processed in California’s San Joaquin Valley.
Do you irradiate or PPO your almonds?
We do not irradiate our almonds and they are steam pasteurized per the regulations set forth by the USDA and the Almond Board of California.
What type of salt is used in your product?
Paramount Farms uses sea salt sourced from the San Francisco Bay.
I can’t find the larger sized packages in my grocery store.
At this time our largest package is exclusive to Sam’s Club.
What almond varieties do you use?
Wonderful Almonds uses the Monterey almond for its Roasted & Salted and Roasted No Salt flavors and the Nonpareil almond for Natural Raw.
What’s the best way to store my almonds?
Almonds are best kept sealed and in the refrigerator at temperatures below 50 degrees with low humidity (less than 60%).
